Can I expect extra horsepower when I fit a Kingsborne wire set?	Professional installers do not use Kingsborne wire sets to increase engine horsepower; they use them to maintain maximum engine horsepower. Despite claims made by some wire set manufacturers; no wire set made will increase or add additional horsepower to your engine. Many people have told us that engine performance has increased after they fitted a Kingsborne wire set…. however, in reality, performance only increased because the engine’s potential power was previously restricted by faulty, worn out or inefficient ignition wires.
Are Kingsborne wire sets expensive?	No, because of volume purchasing, low overheads, state of the art equipment along with 30years experience we are able to maximize the quality and lower the costs. Enabling our Customers to obtain quality wire sets at affordable prices.
Does it really matter if I use 1000 ohms connector or a 5000 ohms connector?	Yes. The different ohms value affects the value of resistance, as listed by the manufacturer. For example. If the Original Equipment Manufacturers calls for 5,000 ohm per connector, and the customer uses only 1,000-ohm per connector this could cause problems with the electrical components, such as ABS, AC etc. If it were the other way round, O.E.M calls for 1,000-ohms and 5,000-ohms Connectors are used this could lead to: Burning out of the rotor, because of the increased resistance. and or loss of engine power.
Will Kingsborne drop ship wire sets direct to my customer?	Yes don’t lose that order for ignition wire sets just because you don’t have the particular set in stock…let the customer know that the order will be shipped…now order from Kingsborne where wire sets are always in stock and shipped the very same day. Does Kingsborne only make ignition wires for European cars?	No Kingsborne makes over 2,500 different ignition wire sets to fit Domestic, European, Japanese and Foreign automobiles, Fork Lift trucks, Marine engines, Motorcycles and other stationary engines and racing applications. Call us, if we don't have it listed, we can most likely make it. We are currently working hard to offer a full line of every wireset available for most any vehicle.
Why does Kingsborne include Chemplex (silicone dielectric grease) with all their wire sets?	Dielectric grease applied sparingly to the inside of the spark plug boot allows for easier installation and removal, reduces tracking, reduces corrosion of contacts, improves the flow of current, and makes for easier start-up in high humidity conditions.
