 Cat-Back Exhaust Systems

 Headers

CT Engineering headers and exhaust systems are manufactured using CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent T-304 stainless steel tubing. All headers have precision fit merge collectors and all joints are TIG welded for durability and appearance. All mufflers are polished stainless steel with a polished stainless steel resonated tip and have been tuned to give a deep aggressive exhaust note, without being too loud.

CT Engineering offers complete systems consisting of headers, B pipes with resonator and mufflers. CT Engineering uses both its in house DTS engine dyno and Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno to develop all of the headers and exhaust systems we sell.

All CT Engineering headers are 50 state emissions legal.

AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS

The CT Engineering Icebox Air Intake System is designed to pull inlet air from outside the engine compartment to ensure that denser cold air is actually getting to the engine. Our design also helps keep intake noise to a minimum. The kits use a foam filter that can be cleaned and reused.

HIGH FLOW AIR FILTERS

CT Engineering also offers high flow foam air filters that are a direct replacement for the standard factory filter and can be cleaned and reused.

SUPERCHARGER PACKAGES

NSX

CT Engineering's Supercharger Package is designed by our engineers exclusively for the NSX to provide a substantial increase in horsepower that begins building at 2,000 RPM and continues all the way to redline. Superchargers are of the "Screw-Type" design that provide consistent boost and compress the intake charge very efficiently with a minimal increase in air intake temperature. This combination helps provide almost instant boost (unlike centrifugal type superchargers) to increase and broaden the torque curve substantially. CT Engineering Supercharger Packages are 50 state legal and all components have been tested to ensure OEM reliability as well as proper fitment in the NSX engine compartment. The CT Engineering NSX Supercharger continues to be known worldwide as the only reliable forced induction option for the NSX.
New NSX Supercharger Details: New Autorotor unit replaces Lysholm/Whipple unit, provides 10-15% More Horsepower, lowers inlet air temperatures, and is more easily serviceable (Fuel Rail can be removed without removing Blower Unit, easier access to the Igniter, rubber bypass tube replaced with new Aluminum tube). Product Notes: Targa model NSX’s come with a CT Engineering Billet Strut Bar and a new engine cover assembly that will accommodate the targa top.

TSX

CT Engineering has developed a Supercharger Kit for the Acura TSX that increases power by approximately 50 horsepower at the wheels. The supercharger uses an “Eaton-type” design that provides consistent boost and compresses the intake charge efficiently with a minimal increase in the intake air temperature. This combination provides almost instant boost that increases low and midrange torque for excellent throttle response. The kit is complete with cast aluminum supercharger manifolds, all mounting brackets, as well as all necessary hardware. The kit requires no major modifications, and the car can be easily returned to stock. All CT Engineering Supercharger Systems are 50 state emissions legal and include a CARB decal for street use in California.

RSX

CT Engineering applied the experience gained developing supercharger kits for the Acura NSX and Honda S2000 to designing a Supercharger Kit to boost performance for the Acura RSX. The RSX kit uses a Eaton-type supercharger to give a boost of 40 to 50 horsepower at the wheels and provide a consistent increase in boost as engine RPM increases, giving impressive mid range throttle response and top end performance. The kit includes a cast aluminum intake manifold, mounting brackets, pulleys, belt tensioner, all hardware and instructions.

CL - TL - ACCORD

CT Engineering has developed a supercharger kit for the TL/CL and Accord that increases power by 40 to 60 horsepower at the wheels depending on the model of car. The supercharger uses a “Eaton-type” design that provides consistent boost and compresses the intake charge efficiently with a minimal increase in the intake air temperature. This combination provides almost instant boost that increases low and midrange torque for excellent throttle response. The kit is complete with cast aluminum supercharger manifolds, all mounting brackets, fuel pressure regulator, Ice Box air intake, all necessary hardware and is designed to provide excellent breathing. The kit requires no major modifications and the car can be easily returned to stock.

S2000

If you are looking to transform your S2000, the CT Engineering After-Cooled and Non-After-Cooled Supercharger kits are a great start. Utilizing the benefits of a centrifugal supercharger, designed to match the factory power characteristics of the high revving Honda 2.0L power plant. The CT Engineering Supercharger kits will add more power to your S2000 at the higher RPM's, keeping the car drivable in traffic & day-to-day driving, but throttle the engine to redline & you'll feel the burst of acceleration from the additional 70-80 horsepower at the rear wheels. The kit includes the blower unit, icebox intake with a real carbon fiber lid, all mounting brackets, fuel system upgrades (including an in tank Fuel Pump & CT Engineering FPR), all hoses & drive belt and the CT Engineering ESM unit. 310-320 horsepower at the crank. Utilizes a very efficient gear driven centrifugal supercharger and is a simple bolt on kit.
· •Cooler housing designed with popular blow-off valve bolt pattern on by-pass valve outlet, for those who want to run higher than standard boost levels. This kit is designed so that it can be removed without any modifications to the factory components.
· •After-cooled kits designed to lower inlet temps by 50-70 degrees F.
· •Highly efficient cooler unit losses less than 0.5psi boost.
· •After-cooled kits also include after-cooler, after-cooler radiator, water pump, and all necessary hardware.
Note: Warranty is void w/ higher than standard boost level.
Requires $400 for a core charge for the factory crank pulley, which will be refunded upon return of a undamaged stock crank pulley.

The kit comes complete with cast aluminum supercharger manifolds, all mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware. The kit is completely "bolt-on", and requires no major modifications, so the car can easily be returned to stock. All CT Engineering Supercharger Systems are 50 state emissions legal and include a CARB decal for street use in California.

ELECTRONIC SIGNAL MODIFIER

• This adjustable switch is commonly used to keep the ECU from seeing a boost signal from the MAP Sensor when you are adding a turbo or supercharger to a car that did not originally come that way
